This bug is now fixed but the table is useful BUT INCOMPLETE. [Sun Mar 15 16:55:53 1998: Behaviout for "get -t" is missing especially for the case where the top revision on the trunk is a branch point. The tests in tests/get/t-option.sh do in fact test this, however] I was having problems with sccs-get not getting the correct versions with and without the -r and -e options. Fot the pruposes of our examples, assume the file has the revisions:- 1.1 1.2 1.3 1.3.1.1 1.4 1.5 2.1 This is similar to the file generated by "make gtest" [note: this no longer exists!], with the addition of 2.1. A uuencoded file which has these revisions is at the foot of this file. md5sum produces the following checksum:- 73a93793d60526eaf63009ddcb70d4af test/s.passwd Options Should get Correct? -r1.1 1.1 yes -r1.2 1.2 yes -r1.3 1.3 yes -r1.4 1.4 yes -r1.5 1.5 yes -r1 1.5 no -- 2.1 -r1.3.1.1 1.3.1.1 yes -r1.3.1 1.3.1.1 yes -r2.1 2.1 yes -r2 2.1 yes (by chance? see -r1) (no -r) 2.1 yes -r3 2.1 yes -r3.1 FAIL (no such SID) yes -r3.1.1 FAIL (no such SID) yes -r9000 2.1 yes Now, for when the -e option is used:- Options Should get New Delta Correct? -e -r1.1 1.1 1.1.1.1 yes -e -r1.2 1.2 1.2.1.1 yes -e -r1.3 1.3 1.3.2.1 yes -e -r1.4 1.4 1.4.1.1 yes -e -r1.5 1.5 1.5.1.1 yes -e -r1 1.5 1.5.1.1 yes -e -r1.3.1.1 1.3.1.1 1.3.1.2 yes -e -r1.3.1 1.3.1.1 1.3.1.2 yes -e -r2.1 2.1 2.2 yes -e -r2 2.1 2.2 yes -e (no -r) 2.1 2.2 yes -e -r3 2.1 3.1 yes -e -r3.1 "nonexistent" --- yes -e -r9000 2.1 9000.1 yes -e -r2.2 "nonexistent" --- yes begin 644 s.get-spec.example M`6@U,34T-@H!"`R"@%E"@%S(#`P,#`Q+S`P,#`Q+S`P,#(S"@%D($0@,2XS(#DW M+S`U+S`T(#$R.C4Q.C0R(&IA;65S(#,@,@H!90H!2!J86UE#HP.C`Z#HR.C(Z9&%E;6]N.B]S8FEN.@IA9&TZ>#HS.C0Z861M.B]V M87(O861M.@IL<#IX.C0Z-SIL<#HO=F%R+W-P;V]L+VQP9#H*6YC.B]S8FEN.B]B:6XO#HQ,#HQ M-#IU=6-P.B]V87(O#HQ,3HP.F]P97)A M=&]R.B]R;V]T.@IG86UE#HQ,SHS,#IG;W!H97(Z+W5S#HQ,#0Z,3`P M.D%D86T@5V]O9&-R869T.B]H;VUE+V%D86TZ+V)I;B]B87-H"FUB8W1P#HQ,#4Z,3`P.E)O8F5R="!";W=L97(Z+VAO;64O;6)C='!R9#HO8FEN+V)A M
