libhid licence

Due to the MGE hidparser component, libhid is released under the (viral) GPL
licence. This is a major inconvenience, of which we are aware. We are
searching for alternatives, and for time to implement these so that we can
relicence the library under a free licence, such as BSD or the Artistic
Licence. If you are interested in faster progress, please consider helping us.
