.TH DURUS "1" 2004-08-25 .SH NAME durus \- a persistent object storage system for Python applications .SH SYNOPSIS .B durus { .B \-s | .B \-c | .B \-p } [ .B \-h | .I options ] .SH DESCRIPTION Durus offers an easy way to use and maintain a consistent collection of object instances used by one or more processes. Access and change of a persistent instances is managed through a cached Connection instance which includes commit() and abort() methods so that changes are transactional. Since Durus aggressively caches data and does not use locking, it is best suited for applications where persistent state is relatively stable. .PP This command is a wrapper around the various Durus command line scripts.
