INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS


To install do:

./configure
make
make install


To install to a custom dir do:

./configure --prefix=<custom_dir>
make
make install


To uninstall do:

make uninstall


To do a clean re-install install do:

make distclean
./configure
make
make install

NB: the rcs programme is required to run rvi or you'll get errors when
    executing rvi
    Take note of where this programme gets installed, usually /usr/local/bin/rvi
    I have noticed another rvi(a vi editor wrapper) in linux in /bin/rvi
    make sure you execute /usr/local/bin/rvi
