Kamikaze is a KDE variant of this game family. kamikaze game kde-games ggz bomberman dynablaster Introduction Move your character through labyrinths and try to get rid of all those evil monsters. Here's a screenshot of Kamikaze As shown in the screenshot above, Kamikaze is an action game in which the player must move the game character (which can be a bomberman or a KDE Konqi mascot), collecting items and destroying monsters on the way. Kamikaze supports advanced features such as timebombs, moveable bombs, degrading walls and ground tiles, internet level updates, different themes, user-defineable rule sets, and network play on the internet against other players. A level editor is also included, whose levels can be uploaded to the level repository. Launching a game For a local game, simply launch Kamikaze by selecting the game in the KDE arcade games menu. You can then start a new game, selecting a level, an UI theme, and the number of monsters you'd like to see. To play the game in multiplayer mode, launch a GGZ Gaming Zone core client such as kggz. The number of opponents and monsters is then determined by the client, and all you have to do is to select the level and UI theme. Launch via GGZ Gaming Zone Game rules Run around using the cursor keys. The game character can run on all ground tiles, but walls cannot be traversed. Also, some holes exist in the ground which should be avoided. Place bombs using the space key. Toggle the type of bomb using the tab key beforehand, to select between normal bombs, timebombs and moveable bombs. Activate time bombs using the enter key once they are in place. Custom rules can be defined at the beginning of each game. They encompass settings such as whether moveable bombs are allowed, or how many initial power each player or monster has. The menu bar shows the number of lives, power and bombs the game character possesses. Likewise, the game run time and the score is shown. Make sure to always have enough lives, otherwise the game will end. Credits and Licenses Developers Josef Spillner Tobias Koenig Authors Josef Spillner &underFDL; &underGPL;
