= The World =

The game takes place on Proleium, a planet devastated by war and aggressive exploitation. All that remains is a barren, toxic wasteland. Most of the population lives in Hive Cruor, the only larger city left, and so does your character. Proleium belongs to the Imperium of Man, a gigantic empire spanning thousands of planets. The Imperium is ruled by the Emperor of Man, a legendary figure believed to be god-like.

= The Siege =

Located in a remote area of the galaxy and weakened by economic ruin Proleium is a perfect target for the enemies of the Imperium. Proleium is being attacked by both alien invaders and the forces of Chaos. Hive Cruor is under siege and the attackers are lead by Doombreed, a mighty daemon prince. The Imperial administration has been unable to organize an effective defense; the lower levels of the hive have already been overrun, and the last levels under Imperial control are about to fall.

If you want to survive you have to organize the defense yourself. Build up a powerful party and defeat Doombreed!
