POST-INSTALL Instructions for EnderUNIX spamGuard v.1.6

This file provides instructions on running spamGuard on UNIX (and
UNIX-like) system.  More detailed information and instructions can
be found in EnderUNIX website:
(http://www.enderunix.org/spamguard/spamguard-1.6/POST-INSTALL).

It is recommended that you read, or at least skim through, ALL of
the instructions in this file before attempting to RUN the software.


Configuring the environment
-----------------------------------------------

Run the following command to add a cron job for spamGuard

# crontab -e

Add the following line:

0,5,10,15,20,25,30,35,40,45,50,55 * * * * /usr/local/bin/spamguard 


See spam-ignore.txt.sample. Have a look at it to get an idea.


You're done. Get some rest! You can sleep safely in your bed :)
