INSTALL
-------


1. For compiler this package you need a xpmlib-devel and XFree-devel,
and packages as:

    gcc-c++
    autoconf
    automake
    bison/byacc
    flex/lex


2. Type ./install.

An installation script 'install' should exist in package directory.
    You can run the script by typing

   ./install

    It will make the Makefiles, compile and install the blwm in the appropriate
    directory. 


3. The binary file blwm (Blanes 2000) will install in /usr/local/bin
    The configuration files in /usr/local/lib/blwm/conf
    The icons in /usr/local/lib/blwm/images
    And wallpapers in /usr/local/lib/blwm/themes


4. For execute blwm ( Blanes 2000 ) typing in console:
    xinit /usr/local/bin/blwm

    
5. If you are using a other window-manager, open blwm ( Blanes2000) in other 
    graphical console typing:

    xinit /usr/local/bin/blwm -- :1

    You can be change graphical consoles typing CONTROL + ALT + F7 and
    CONTROL + ALT + F8 .   


6. All shortcuts and menu itens do not check if your programs are installed.

    
7. Use a text editor for modified/configure the menus and shortcuts.
    This files are hosted in /usr/local/lib/blwm/conf.
